Dream Movie Makers மற்றும் Nayavayu Chitralu நிறுவனங்களின் சார்பில் நாகார்ஜுனா ரெட்டி மற்றும் பவன் பாசம்செட்டி இணைந்து இப்படத்தை தயாரிக்கின்றனர். இரு தயாரிப்பு நிறுவனங்களுக்கும் இது முதல் தயாரிப்பு முயற்சி என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.
தமிழ்–தெலுங்கை இணைக்கும் ‘Telumil’ முயற்சி
‘கோல்டன் பாக்கியம்’ ஒரு வழக்கமான தமிழ் அல்லது தெலுங்கு திரைப்படமாக இல்லாமல், இரு மொழிகளையும் சேர்ந்த கதைக்களம் மற்றும் கலைஞர்களை ஒரே திரையில் இணைக்கும் வகையில் உருவாகியுள்ளது. படக்குழு இதனை ‘Telumil’ என குறிப்பிடுகிறது.

Tamil and Telugu cinema’s popular comedy actors Yogi Babu and Satya are coming together for the first time for an exciting new entertainer titled ‘Golden Bhagyam’. The film is directed by Rangabali fame filmmaker Pawan Basamsetti, and the title glimpse has now been unveiled, offering a glimpse into the film’s distinctive concept and comic world.
The film is jointly produced by Nagarjuna Reddy and Pawan Basamsetti under the banners of Dream Movie Makers and Nayavayu Chitralu. The project marks the maiden production venture of both banners.
A Telugu-Tamil ‘Telumil’ Combination
‘Golden Bhagyam’ is not positioned as a conventional Tamil or Telugu film. Instead, the makers describe it as a ‘Telumil’ project, bringing together the languages, cultures and popular performers of both industries.
The title glimpse introduces this concept with a humorous sequence involving a Telugu man and a Tamil man passionately defending their favourite cuisines. While the Telugu character enjoys biryani with a cool drink, the Tamil character relishes idli with sambar. Their playful argument over which cuisine is superior takes an unexpected turn when another person hints that an even more exciting combination is about to arrive.
The sequence then leads to the stylish introduction of Yogi Babu and Satya, who appear in traditional white attire. The glimpse further hints that their story will combine love, crime and action, before revealing the title ‘Golden Bhagyam’.
Yogi Babu and Satya Bring Their Comic Styles Together
One of the major highlights of the project is the unusual pairing of two leading comedy actors from different industries. Adding to the fun, Satya, a Telugu actor, is seen speaking Tamil, while Tamil star Yogi Babu speaks Telugu in the glimpse.
The makers have also presented the duo as a major Tamil-Telugu combination, with massive multi-starrer cutouts appearing in the background. The glimpse suggests that the film will be built around the distinctive chemistry and comic timing of its lead actors.
Yogi Babu and Satya are expected to form the film’s central comic force, bringing their respective styles of humour together in a setting that connects the Tamil and Telugu film industries.
Prominent Supporting Cast
Jayashree and Athiraj play the female leads, while Vennela Kishore, Sudharshan, Kishore Tirumala, Rohini, Tanikella Bharani and Sunil Reddy are part of the prominent supporting cast.
The technical team includes an experienced group of filmmakers and technicians. Pawan Basamsetti has written and directed the film, while Nagarjuna Reddy and Pawan Basamsetti are producing it.
Pawan CH and Nitish John are composing the music, with cinematography handled by Bablu Aju. Raviteja Girijala is responsible for the editing, while Siva Kamesh D takes care of production design. Yuvraaj is the PRO.
The makers have also added a humorous touch to the film’s release announcement. The movie was initially announced as a Sankranthi release, but the plans were subsequently changed, with the team now confirming that ‘Golden Bhagyam’ will arrive within this year.
With its unusual Tamil-Telugu combination, two popular comedy stars at the forefront and a storyline that blends comedy, romance, crime and action, ‘Golden Bhagyam’ promises to be a distinctive crossover entertainer.
