தமிழ் சினிமாவில் மர்டர் மிஸ்ட்ரி மற்றும் துப்பறியும் திரில்லர் கதைகளுக்கு ரசிகர்களிடையே எப்போதும் தனி வரவேற்பு இருந்து வருகிறது. அந்த வரிசையில், நடிகர் வைபவ் கதாநாயகனாக நடித்துள்ள ‘மாறுவேஷம்’ திரைப்படத்தின் முதல் பார்வை (First Look) போஸ்டர் வெளியாகி ரசிகர்களின் கவனத்தை ஈர்த்துள்ளது.
ஒனிரோமான்சி பிக்சர்ஸ் நிறுவனம், மங்கி மேன் கம்பெனியுடன் இணைந்து தயாரித்துள்ள இந்தப் படத்தை இயக்குநர் ஸ்ரீனி எழுதி இயக்கியுள்ளார். தயாரிப்பாளர்களாக விஜய் ஆனந்த் மற்றும் நடிகர் வைபவ் இணைந்துள்ளனர்.
‘மாறுவேஷம்’ திரைப்படம் வழக்கமான குற்றப்பின்னணி கதையாக இல்லாமல், மர்மம், உளவியல் பரபரப்பு, திடீர் திருப்பங்கள் மற்றும் மனிதர்களின் மறைக்கப்பட்ட அடையாளங்களை மையமாகக் கொண்ட வித்தியாசமான த்ரில்லராக உருவாகியுள்ளது.
இந்தப் படத்தில், கடினமான வழக்குகளை தீர்க்கும் ஆர்வமிக்க காவல்துறை அதிகாரி திலக் என்ற கதாபாத்திரத்தில் வைபவ் நடித்துள்ளார். சாதாரண வழக்குகளில் சலிப்படைந்துள்ள அவருக்கு, எதிர்பாராத விதமாக பல மர்மங்களும் அதிர்ச்சிகரமான உண்மைகளும் நிறைந்த ஒரு விசாரணை கிடைக்கிறது. அந்த விசாரணை அவரை எந்த பாதைக்கு அழைத்துச் செல்கிறது என்பதே படத்தின் மையக் கதையாக அமைந்துள்ளது.
படம் குறித்து இயக்குநர் ஸ்ரீனி கூறுகையில், “மாறுவேஷம் என்பது ஒரு தலைப்பு மட்டுமல்ல; ஒவ்வொரு கதாபாத்திரமும் மறைத்து வைத்திருக்கும் உண்மைகளின் அடையாளம். வெளிப்புற தோற்றம் மாறினாலும், கடந்த காலத்திலிருந்து உண்மையில் தப்பிக்க முடியுமா என்ற கேள்வியை மையமாகக் கொண்டு திரைக்கதை நகர்கிறது. ஒவ்வொரு திருப்பமும் ரசிகர்களை ஆச்சரியப்படுத்தும் வகையில் வடிவமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது,” என்றார்.

Vaibhav’s Murder Mystery Thriller ‘Maaruvesham’ Unveils Intriguing First Look Poster

Actor Vaibhav is set to headline the upcoming murder mystery thriller ‘Maaruvesham’, and the makers have officially unveiled the film’s first look poster, offering audiences a glimpse into a suspense-filled investigative drama packed with unexpected twists.
Produced under the Oneiromancy Pictures banner in association with Monkey Man Company, the film is jointly produced by Vijay Anand and Vaibhav. Written and directed by Sreeni, Maaruvesham promises an engaging blend of mystery, crime, suspense, and emotional storytelling.
The film follows Tilak, a dedicated police officer portrayed by Vaibhav, who is passionate about solving challenging criminal cases. Frustrated by the routine investigations assigned to him, Tilak finally encounters a case unlike anything he has handled before. As he begins his investigation, he is drawn into a web of shocking revelations, hidden identities, long-buried secrets, and unexpected twists that redefine everything he believes to be true.
Speaking about the film, director Sreeni said, “Maaruvesham is more than just a title—it represents the hidden identities every character carries. The film explores intriguing questions: Who is hiding the truth? Why is a person forced to change their identity? Is it for survival, revenge, love, or to escape a forgotten past? The story revolves around layered characters, concealed secrets, and the emotional conflict of living between two identities. Faces may change, but can anyone truly escape their past? These questions form the heart of the film.”
The film stars Viyana as the female lead alongside Ramki, Munishkanth, Vivek Prasanna, Livingston, George Maryan, George Vijay, Indhumathi, Mu. Ramasamy, and Cell Murugan in pivotal roles.
