“‘டோரதி’ ஒரு திரைப்படம் மட்டுமல்ல… மாற்றத்தை உருவாக்கும் படைப்பு!” – நடிகை கீர்த்தி சுரேஷ் நம்பிக்கை

‘டோரதி’ திரைப்பட விழாவில் நடிகை கீர்த்தி சுரேஷ் கலந்து கொண்டு படக்குழுவினருக்கு வாழ்த்துகளைத் தெரிவித்தார். அப்போது அவர் பேசியதாவது:

“‘டோரதி’ படத்தின் கதையின் சுருக்கத்தை முதலில் கார்த்திக் சார் என்னிடம் பகிர்ந்தபோது, இப்படியொரு படத்தில் நடிக்க விருப்பமா என்று கேட்டார். கதையைப் படித்தவுடனேயே, ‘கண்டிப்பாக இந்தப் படத்தைச் செய்கிறேன்’ என்று கூறிவிட்டேன். ஏனெனில் இப்படிப்பட்ட படங்களில் ஒரு பகுதியாக இருப்பதே நமக்குப் பெருமை.

இந்தப் படத்தில் பணியாற்றிய அனுபவம் எனக்கு மிகவும் சிறப்பானதாக இருந்தது. ஒரு நடிகராக நான் கற்றுக்கொண்ட விஷயங்கள் ஏராளம். ‘டோரதி’ என்ற பெயருக்கே ‘கடவுளின் பரிசு’ என்ற அர்த்தம் உள்ளது. அந்த அர்த்தத்திற்கு ஏற்ற வகையில் இந்தப் படமும் அமையும் என்று நம்புகிறேன்.

இந்த வாய்ப்பை வழங்கிய கார்த்திக் சாருக்கு எனது மனமார்ந்த நன்றி. அதேபோல் ராஜா சாரின் இசையில் இந்தப் படத்தின் ஒரு பகுதியாக இருப்பேன் என்று நான் கனவிலும் நினைத்ததில்லை. அந்த வாய்ப்பு கிடைத்திருப்பது மிகவும் மகிழ்ச்சியாக இருக்கிறது.

குரியன் சார் எனக்கு ஒரு குருவைப் போன்றவர். என்னுடைய மூன்றாவது படத்திலேயே அவருடன் பணியாற்றியிருக்கிறேன். அன்றிலிருந்து தொடங்கிய எங்கள் பயணம் இத்தனை ஆண்டுகளாக தொடர்ந்து வருவது எனக்கு மிகுந்த மகிழ்ச்சி. அவர் மிகவும் கண்டிப்பானவர். ஆனால் அந்தக் கண்டிப்பின் பலனை திரையில் பார்க்கும்போது அதன் மதிப்பு புரிகிறது.

தினேஷ் மாஸ்டருடன் படத்தில் இடம்பெறும் ஒரு முக்கியமான காட்சியில் பணியாற்றியிருக்கிறேன். குறிப்பாக அந்த ஆக்‌ஷன் காட்சியின் உருவாக்கம் எனக்கு மிகவும் பிடித்திருந்தது. துரு சாரின் கேமரா பணியும், காட்சிகளை வடிவமைத்த விதமும் சிறப்பாக அமைந்துள்ளது.

ரிஷியும் சனந்தும் இந்தப் படத்தில் சிறப்பாக நடித்திருக்கிறார்கள். குறுகிய காலத்திலேயே அவர்களுடன் ஒரு நல்ல நட்பு உருவாகியிருப்பது மகிழ்ச்சி. அவர்கள் இருவருக்கும் என்னுடைய முழு ஆதரவும் வாழ்த்துகளும் எப்போதும் இருக்கும்.

ஜீவா அக்காவுடன் இணைந்து பணியாற்றியதும் எனக்கு மகிழ்ச்சியான அனுபவம். திரைக்குப் பின்னால் பல்வேறு பணிகளில் அவரை பார்த்திருக்கிறேன். இன்று திரையில் இவ்வளவு முக்கியமான கதாபாத்திரத்தில் அவரைப் பார்ப்பது பெருமையாக இருக்கிறது. இதை அவர் தனது வாழ்நாள் சாதனை என்று கூறியிருந்தாலும், இது முடிவு அல்ல; அவருடைய புதிய பயணத்தின் தொடக்கம். இத்தனை ஆண்டுகள் அவர் செய்த உழைப்புக்கான பலனை இந்தப் படம் அவருக்குக் கொடுக்கும் என்று நம்புகிறேன்.

இந்தப் படத்தில் இடம்பெறும் ஒவ்வொரு கதாபாத்திரத்திற்கும் முக்கியத்துவம் இருக்கிறது. சௌந்தர்யா சார், முத்து பாண்டி சார், முத்து குமார் சார் உள்ளிட்ட அனைவரும் தங்களுடைய கதாபாத்திரங்களை சிறப்பாக செய்திருக்கிறார்கள். விநேஷ் சாரின் எடிட்டிங்கில் சில காட்சிகள் எனக்கு மிகவும் பிடித்திருந்தன.

படத்தில் பணியாற்றிய ஒவ்வொரு தொழில்நுட்பக் கலைஞருக்கும் எனது நன்றி. உதவி இயக்குநர்கள் அர்விந்த், பரத், சிங்கேஷ் உள்ளிட்ட அனைவரும் சிறப்பாக உழைத்திருக்கிறார்கள். உடை வடிவமைப்பாளர் பிரவீன் உள்ளிட்ட அனைத்து தொழில்நுட்பக் கலைஞர்களின் பங்களிப்பும் பாராட்டுக்குரியது.

‘டோரதி’ திரைப்படம் செப்டம்பர் 25ஆம் தேதி வெளியாகிறது. இந்தப் படம் நிச்சயமாக பெரிய அளவில் பேசப்படும் என்று நான் நம்புகிறேன். இது நம்முடைய தமிழ் திரைப்படம் என்று பெருமைப்படக்கூடிய ஒரு படமாக இருக்கும். இந்திய அளவில் மட்டுமல்லாமல், உலகளவில் இந்தப் படம் பேசப்படும் என்று எதிர்பார்க்கிறேன். இந்தப் படத்தின் மூலம் பல விஷயங்களில் மாற்றம் ஏற்படும் என நம்புகிறேன்.

அபிஷேக் என்னிடம் நன்றி தெரிவித்தபோது, கடந்த முறை டிரெய்லர் வெளியீட்டு நிகழ்ச்சியில் நான்கு முறை எனது புடவையை ‘மிஸ்’ செய்ததை மறக்கவில்லை என்று சிரித்தபடி கூறிய கீர்த்தி சுரேஷ், ‘அதனால் உங்களுக்கு நோ தேங்க்யூ!’ என்று நகைச்சுவையாகக் குறிப்பிட்டார்.

செப்டம்பர் 25ஆம் தேதி வெளியாகவுள்ள ‘டோரதி’ திரைப்படம் குறித்து கீர்த்தி சுரேஷின் இந்தப் பேச்சு, படத்தின் மீது எதிர்பார்ப்பை மேலும் அதிகரித்துள்ளது.

“Dorothy Is More Than Just a Film… It Has the Potential to Bring About Change,” Says Keerthy Suresh

Chennai: Actress Keerthy Suresh attended the event of the upcoming film Dorothy and spoke about her experience working on the project, while expressing her gratitude to the cast and crew.

Speaking at the event, Keerthy Suresh said that she immediately decided to be part of the film after reading the synopsis shared with her by director Karthik.

“When Karthik sir first sent me the synopsis and asked if I would be interested in doing a film like this, I read it and immediately told him that I would definitely do it. Being part of a film like this itself is a matter of pride for us. That is the kind of film Dorothy is,” she said.

Keerthy described her experience working on the film as a memorable one and said she learned several valuable things as an actor during the process.

“The name Dorothy means ‘gift of God’, and I feel that meaning is beautifully reflected in this film as well. I am extremely grateful to Karthik sir for giving me this opportunity,” she added.

The actress also expressed her happiness about being part of a project featuring music by Raja sir.

“I never even imagined in my dreams that I would get an opportunity to be part of a film with Raja sir and his music. I am extremely happy and thankful for this opportunity,” she said.

Speaking about Kurian, Keerthy said that he has been like a guru to her and recalled their long association.

“Kurian sir is like a guru to me. This is my third film with him. Our journey began with Geethanjali, my first Tamil film, and it has continued for so many years. He is extremely strict on the sets, but the result of that discipline is clearly visible on screen,” she said.

Keerthy also praised Dinesh Master and the team behind the film’s action sequences. She particularly highlighted one of the action sequences in the film and appreciated the camera work and choreography that went into creating it.

She went on to praise her co-stars Rishi and Sanand, describing them as very good friends and appreciating their performances in the film.

“I am very happy that we have created such a wonderful bond within a very short span of time. Both Rishi and Sanand have performed extremely well. I will always be rooting for both of them,” Keerthy said.

The actress also spoke warmly about Jeeva, appreciating her important role in the film.

“I am very happy to see Jeeva akka playing such an important character on screen. She said this is like a lifetime achievement, but I believe this is just the beginning. I hope this film marks the beginning of a long and successful journey for her. The hard work she has put in over the years will surely receive its due through this film,” she said.

Keerthy further praised the performances of Soundarya, Muthu Pandi and Muthu Kumar, pointing out that every character in the film has an important role to play.

“Every character in this film is very important and has the ability to touch the audience. Everyone has worked extremely hard on their respective parts,” she added.

She also appreciated editor Vinesh and the various technicians who worked behind the scenes, along with the assistant directors Aravind, Bharath and Singesh, costume designer Praveen and the entire technical team.

Concluding her speech, Keerthy Suresh said, “Dorothy is releasing on September 25. I strongly believe that this will be a film that will be widely discussed. It is the kind of Tamil film that we can all feel proud of. I believe it will not only be discussed across India but also worldwide. I hope this film brings about changes in many ways.”

The actress ended her speech on a light-hearted note by joking with Abhishek, recalling that he had missed her saree several times during the previous trailer launch event.

With its release scheduled for September 25, Dorothy is now gearing up to meet audiences, with Keerthy Suresh’s words adding to the anticipation surrounding the film.
